LOVE SONGS
"Life sings only love songs."
(Happy Musings is a newspaper feature syndicated by King Features that I create each day to remind us all that “Life is wonderful!” I offer it here to brighten your day. Please share it with your friends.)
Life sings only love songs – and to you, if you’re listening. Life is love and love is life. This is not the everyday life of people, but true life – the life that is within and without all things and all people. And these love songs are ones of harmony.
I have a friend who sings love songs. He has sung them since he was a teenager. He has become quite famous through the years for his singing of these songs and has even had many hit records doing it. Now he is an older gentleman, yet continues to sing love songs to large and small audiences around the world. The love songs he sings involve man and woman relationships in all aspects of love – from new love, to mature love, to love loss, to breaking up and getting back together love. It is interesting that his life has followed the path of his songs. He has married and divorced at least six times that I know of. Even today he continues to fall in and out of love and experience the situations he so passionately sings about. Through all of this he is as handsome as he was thirty years ago and his popularity continues to grow. Love is his elixir.
Now it is not always possible to have a loved one in your life for its duration, but it is possible to be the object of love forever by the life that is ever present. All that is required is to accept the notion and listen and move in the harmony of that love.
Yes, true life sings only love songs!
These are just my thoughts, but you may have others on this subject and I would love to hear them, especially if they are harmonious.
Smiles,
Sally
